I SET UP A BABY MONITOR IN MY SON’S ROOM AFTER HEARING STRANGE NOISES—WHAT I SAW MADE MY BLOOD RUN COLD
It started with a giggling sound.
I had just put my son, Edduin, down for his nap when I heard it—soft, playful laughter coming from his room.
I froze.
It sounded like two voices.
I threw the door open.
No one was there.
Edduin lay in his crib, blinking up at me. The room was eerily silent.
I searched everywhere—the closet, the bathroom, under the bed. Nothing.
Maybe I was just tired. Stressed.
But then, it kept happening.
Every. Single. Day.
The laughter. The noises. The feeling that someone else was in the room.
I couldn’t ignore it anymore.
So I bought a WiFi baby monitor and set it up in Edduin’s room.
I told myself it was just for peace of mind.
But ten minutes after turning it on, my phone buzzed.
Movement detected.
I felt a chill creep up my spine.
My hands shook as I pulled up the live feed.
And then—I saw it.
A shadowy figure standing by my son’s crib.
I sprinted to his room, my heart pounding.
But when I burst inside…
There was no one.
Just Edduin, staring at the baby monitor.
And then he said, in his tiny voice—
“Mama, he’s gone now.”
